Are You A Lukewarm Christian?
Jesus says this about the Laodicean church:
‘Rev 3v15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou were cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked…’

Many see this as a description of the age we are now living in, even the seventh church age. Perhaps it’s a description of your own church? Or of you?
So, here’s the question: Are you lukewarm? Have you gone off the boil and become unfruitful in the things of God? Has your fire burned so low as to become useless?
I hope not, because Jesus says He will spue you out of His mouth.
Are you satisfied with your money, and the pursuit of riches?
Are you satisfied with all the cars and houses and goods you own?
Are you satisfied with yourself and have all you need?
Have you sold your soul for a bowl of soup?
Woe unto you!
Jesus says that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.
Dear God, please shake everyone one of your children so that we never forget what you have saved us from, and what you have saved us for.
Dear God, please burn that lukewarmness out of us all, starting with me.
